We have a NP that recently joined the group. She is interested in doing group diabetic education for some of our patients. Has anyone had to do this before? Can the training be done by an NP versus a dietician? Code to use?

Second, sometimes as part of the patient's E/M the providers have the patients complete a depression assessment. Is there any way to bill for this outside of the E/M code? I thought it was included as part of the E/M- and it always pays to ask the question.
