I have a question. We are billing Wyoming Medicare for our registered dietician for G0108. We attach the ordering/referring provider to the claim. Noridian Medicare is paying on all of the claims, except for one provider. He is an internal medicine/endocrinologist and Noridian is stating he had to have an “Action reason code of 52” which stated was a type or certification/accreditation as part of the DSMT program. Any ideas on why this one provider would get this code, but none of our other providers?
