I am looking through the ICD-9 guidelines and I can't find anything that states once the pt has been diagnosed with a Diabetic manifestation whether or not you can one visit code 250.02 then the next 250.60, 357.2. Unless the document states resoloved shouldn't you continue to code 250.60, 357.2?

I know when doing risk adjustment, any diabetic manifests are considered chronic, so I would continue to use the 250.60, 357.2 or if it is uncontrolled, then use 250.62. Hope this helps.
