I just had to smile when I read your post. We were told once not to call them cheat sheets because it has a negative connotation. We are supposed to call them work aids...and your post reminded me.

The website that is offered as a good "resource" for dx codes (http://icd9cm.chrisendres.com/ ) is based on the 2009 ICD-9 book, so it is more of a hindrence than a help. Don't fall into that trap. I used to use it all the time, but didn't realize how outdated it is.
