I know you can never code: "suspected, probables, and likelys"....but can you code "consistent with"?
 
Not a definitive diagnosis

No - per Coding Clinic, third quarter 2005, terms like "compatible with" and "consistent with" fit the definition of a probable or suspected condition and therefore, the condition cannot be coded in an outpatient or office setting.
