If patient came into the hospital with c/o decreased fetal movement at 30 weeks and was 21 years old, and the provider documented stable pregnancy, and discharged home do you use the reason she came in for the decreased fetal movement or is there a code for stable pregnancy, because I couldn't find one?

In Section II, Selection of Principal Diagnosis of ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting it states "that condition established after study to be chiefly responsible for occasioning the admission of the patient to the hospital for care". So if the physician said she was 'stable' you could use Z71.1. I hope this helps.
