If someone comes in for a follow-up of 3rd, 4th, and 5th trigger fingers, would you count only one point under Diagnosis/Management Options or 3?

This is tough without seeing documentation. My thought is that it's probably a single disease process that's affecting three joints - I imagine there would only be a single common treatment plan to cover this - in which case it's a single diagnosis. If by chance the provider is documenting that each of the three joints has something distinct and different going on and treating each one separately, then I would lean more toward counting it as three.
