I currently have one claim stuck stating that the diagnosis of M47816 and M47817 are not valid diagnosis. I do not see in the ICD-10 book where they are not allowed to go together. Can someone point me in the right direction because I am stumped they look like they are able to be billed together.

It's redundant.

M47.817 is the lumbosacral region. M47.816 is the lumbar region.

The lumbar region is part of the lumbosacral region.
