Wiki Diagnosis vs. treatment diagnosis

I work in a physical therapy office and we recently switched to a new EHR system that has two different spots for ICD 10 codes. One says "Diagnosis" and below that "Treatment Diagnosis" I know the treatment diagnosis would be what the therapist is working on ex. muscle weakess, pain, ect. And the Diagnosis, what the doctor has diagnosed the patient with. But I have never had to split them into different spots before and am wondering if it matters for billing purposes or if it doesnt make a difference if the same codes are in both?
