Does the diagnosis change when the colonoscopy goes from a screening to diagnosistic service and the PT modifiers is added?
 
you always follow the coding guidelines for diagnosis, when the reason for the test is screening then the screening V code remains first listed regardless of the findings or any additional procedures performed. The finding will be secondary codes
