When seeing a new patient and the diagnoses are complex renal cyst, right adrenal adenoma, and enlarged prostate with lower urinary symptoms and their PCP referred them to us (urology) because they found these diagnoses on a recent CT, would these be considered chronic diseases already? I am debating because chronic is considered lasting longer than a year or until death. But it hasn't been a year. But they will have these diagnoses most likely forever.

I believe that the definition of a chronic illness is one that is expected to last at least a year or until the death of the patient. I would imagine that the diagnoses you list would be expected to last at least one year so the fact that it hasn't been a years since they were diagnoses doesn't really figure into things.
