Seeking guidance on coding a diagnostic sleep study (95810) that required additional EEG monitoring. A total of 12 EEG channels were monitored because of the patient's history of seizures. Should I use a modifier or a prolonged service CPT code to properly report the extending time and attention provided to the patient?
