Can free standing dialysis units bill code V56.0? Thank you for any help.
 
I believe free standing dialysis units are to code V56.0 then 585.6. However, could someone please inform me as to where exactly in the Medicare guidelines this is stating. I am having difficulty proving V56.0 should be billed as primary code. Please help. thank you
