Thoughts on a laparoscopic and thoracoscopic repair of a diaphragmatic hernia with the reduction of the liver and small intestines. "The liver an small intestine were reduced into the abdominal cavity and the diaphragm was closed with sutures and mesh". Is this coded with CPT 43282 or CPT 49659 ( unlisted) CPT 43282 is hernia repair with reduction of the stomach, in this case it was the liver. Does it matter what was reduced? Thank you.
