Does anyone know of a code that can be billed in addition to an e/m for diet/exercise counseling given in a pulmonology office?
 
99401-99404 - Preventive medicine counseling and/or risk factor reduction intervention services. The codes are based on time spent counseling and if they are done in addition to an office visit, modifier 25 will be required on the associated E&M code.
