Our general surgery/bariatric surgery office recently merged with an internal medicine physician who does medical weight management. There are also 3 dietitians with the internal medicine physician; all of our groups are hospital-owned and all providers are hospital employees. Does anyone have a good resource(s) for billing for dietitian services? Everything that's been passed on to me has been cobbled together over the years by non-coders and the claims submission process has been done by trial and error...I'm looking for some solid, reliable resources. Thank you!
