Hi. Provider performed a digital block of right thumb for ingrown fingernail. Procedure note states that 2.5 ML of lidocaine were injected around the base of the thumb. After waiting for adequate anesthesia, I used a curette and placed a swab of cotton under the infected area. Patient tolerated the procedure well. Insurance is Medicare and diagnoses are not on the LCD to bill 64450. How should this be billed? TIA.
