"The ostomy bag was taken down....The ostomy was stenosed significantly. Starting with the smallest cervical dilator...dilated up thru a size 13 dilator. ....ostomy appliance was replaced". I am fairly new to general surgery coding & do not find a specific CPT for the dilation of colostomy. Any suggestions other than unlisted code?
