Wiki discharge after delivery question

Hello. I just started coding for a large Ob/Gyn practice and wanted to confirm if physician delivered patient that was under the global care and the physician dropped charge for lets just say vaginal delivery and on the next day or two the physician saw patient to discharge and dropped 99238. is this billable or would the discharge be a part of the global OB care with delivery?

second question. If patient WAS NOT under global ob care and the physician just did delivery only. Can a discharge be billed for the following day as well?

and last question. If patient was delivered via c-section are any visits in the hospital after delivery considered under the global period of the delivery?

1) Yes, discharge is included in the global OB
2) If not global OB, then yes, discharge is billable.
3) Whether vaginal or c-section, if billing global, all visits in hospital are included unless it is treatment for a complication
