I have a physician who discharged a patient in the AM and then pt came back and was readmitted to hosp. Is this allowed? Are there any modifiers I need to look at sending? I thought only one visit per provider per day was allowed...

Same problem

If it's for the same problem, then just code a subsequent hospital visit ... you can use all the documentation to select your level of service.
