my doctor was a co-surgeon for a spine fusion. the other doc started his anterior approach procedure but was unable to reach the proper internal site due to patient's obesity. my doc was in op room for almost 2 hours but the decision was made to discontinue the procedure. my doc believes he should be reimbursed for his time spent in op room. bill doc's anticipated procedures with/without -53? with/without -62? bill nothing?
