I work for a newer company. We do not have a code specifically for our device and we are the only company that can supply the device. We currently are working on getting our own code however for now we have been using code E1399 for commercial plans and E0935 for Medicare/Med Adv. plans. We do have our contract with Medicare but I am looking for some help/assistance on how we could get better reimbursement for the commercial plans. We do submit GAP exceptions but I wasn't sure if there could possibly be a better code to use for our device. This device is for rehabilitation post surgery typically for TKA. We do have some for HTA, UKA, and then other knee surgeries but majority is for TKA. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
