Hello,

It's documented in an E/M visit note for a terminally ill patient in an inpatient facility, that the family members "confirmed" that the patient is a DNR. Does that always correlate with a high risk of morbidity from additional diagnostic testing and treatment in the MDM table ? I'm asking because, in my opinion, the decision to make the patient a DNR may have been made at a previous visit/time and not at that same visit so it does not necessarily mean that the risk level for the current visit is high based on the DNR status.
