Hi everyone...so we seem to be having a problem with OB patients going through the entire pregnancy with a Commercial Insurance and then some where around 34-36 weeks they are getting on Medicaid. The problem with this, is that my office does NOT participate with any of the Medicaid plans, and this late in the pregnancy, there is NOT any other providers in the area that are willing to take the patients. Needless to say, my doctors are not getting paid for the delivery of the baby.
HELP----Is this happening to any other offices? If so, how are you handling this? Any ideas how to prevent this from future patients? We have had 3 in 2019, and I think this is going to be a trend....I am at a loss for this, and would appreciate any help with this.....Thank you.......
