How would you bill when one CRNA starts a case and then another one takes over? Should there be an overlap of the minute in between or not? IE; CRNA A start 8:00 am stopped 9:00 am. CRNA B should the start time be 9:00 am or 9:01? Thanks!!

I was taught that if one ends at 9:00 you should start the other at 9:01. But - our anesthesiologist/crna's work over at the hospital and we get our times uploaded in the system we use for billing and they all come over as 9:00 ending and 9:00 starting. I have entered the minutes both ways and it does not change the final total minutes charged. Hope that helps.
