It has always been my understanding that an attestation is required when a physician signs off on a PA's note. However, I have recently been told that since both providers are credentialed providers than no attestation is required. I need to get clarification on this and will need documentation to support it either way. If you can direct me on this it will be greatly appreciated. kah-cpc
