Hi I am a new auditor and I'm getting ready to do an audit on our OB/GYN group for deliveries. Does anyone have any information on what the documentation requirements are, when billing for delivery? What I was sent for review was the RN's "pregnancy summary documentation" I was looking more for a note from the physician (like I would when a doctor performs any other procedure/surgery) but I was told this is all they use when billing the delivery...:confused: Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. :o
