Good Morning All,
I have accepted a new position with a FP clinic and have a question regarding the signature (and subsequent billing) requirements of a CRNP under the supervision of the DOC. Currently they are billing under the Supervising physician, but only the CRNP is signing the note. I (coming from a private practice) was under the assumption that the Supervising also had to review and sign. PA Mediciad does not recognize CRNP as a billing entity, so wouldn't the Suprv also need to sign off on the note? What about the Medicaid HMO's...anyone familiar??
