I just switched to a new practise. In the old job, providers type up or dictate their own notes. If dictated, transcription typed them up exactly how they are dicated. Then provider reviews and signs.
In new practise, they type up notes and then transcription is reviewing them and changing things as they feel "warranted".
I think the provider shoudl type his note, proof it and sign it. I dont think trans needs to be reviewing each note.
How do your offices handle this?? Maybe I am naive about how businesses are doing this?
