As a coder, what do I tell the provider to document for HPI duration for Worker's Compensation visits? He thinks the Date of Injury that's listed at the top of the report counts as duration. The DOI is not listed in the body of the HPI. There are no other items listed for duration in the body of the HPI. Please advise.
