Foreign body removal Procedure - The left forearm and left hand was anesthetized using 5 mL 1% lidocaine without epinephrine. The forearm and hand were cleaned and exploration of several wounds resulted in removal of 5 small pieces of glass foreign body, 2 from left hand and 3 from the left forearm. There were no complications and it was well-tolerated.

Can we consider coding CPT 10120 for the above foreign body removal procedure or since the doctor did not do an incision we would not be coding for this service. Thoughts on this!
