Wiki Does this mean a laminectomy is scheduled to be done?

instability noted on imaging, and amount of bone that would be required to be removed (total facetectomies) which would obviate fusion if decompression was performed.
 
I don't see where this would suggest that surgery is scheduled. This sentence may hint that it would be appropriate in order to help the patient, but unless it says that surgery is scheduled, I would not assume so.
