IS there a CPT code for performing a double ligature prodecure?
Assessment is pedunculated umbilical granuloma. The area was cleaned with alcohol and a 5.0 Vicryl suture was tied around the lesion. The area was assessed for 30 minutes post procedure and the patient tolerated treatment well. The area was covered with gauze and paper tape. The patient's mother was advised to keep the area clean and dry using alcohol daily. She was advised that the lesion should eventually lose vasculature and disseminate.
