Hello,

I have a question regarding billing a double uteri ptn.
OB Ptn present for conf of pregnancy. Dr. does a sono. since she has 2 uteri can we bill 76830 2x w/ a modifier. or what would be the right way of doing this. Single gest sac by the way.

If the pregnancy is confirmed you have to code an OB US. As for the double uterus, I believe that is an incidental finding and you should only code for one US.
