Anyone having any trouble with billing the new ultrasound guided injection codes 20604 and 20606 for a DPM? Our Medicare provider (Novitas) is telling us that these codes are not payable for DPM's...only MD and DO.

We are able to bill the 20605 AND 76942 and get reimbursed (had done a few before we switched to the new codes) but that doesn't seem correct. Cannot find any LCD or Medicare Policy stating this.

Anyone seeing this problem or have some insight?
