I need some help on this one.... if a drug screen is sent out (we only code and bill for the urine collection) from an outside employer, who does not have their own Medical Review Officer and so they use our companies' MRO, and we get a bill from the Medical Review Officer, can we bill that separate from the collection? We are not getting a report just the bill. I'm saying no since I have no documentation to back up the bill for the intrepretation. Am I right? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to risk my certification here....
