Wiki DSHS not paying for co-surgeons/Assistants?

Is anyone having issues getting co-surgeries paid by DSHS? We have had several denials in the last few months that co-surgeries and assistant surgeries are not covered. But they deny both surgeons. I have searched everywhere and can not find anything showing that their policy changed. Thanks
 
Did you appeal with op notes?

When we get these denials, it usually just means that they need to see the operative note(s) (you'll need to send notes from both providers for co-surgeries).

DSHS not paying for co-surgeons

Appealing with op notes might help but there are some surgery codes that does not require assistant surgeon.
