Wiki Dsm-5

Just wondering if anyone out there has heard of an "official implementation" date for the use of DSM-5.

Here in Minnesota there is much confusion following a behavioral health conference where it was mentioned that DHS wants DSM-5 implemented as of 1/1/14, however that is not substantiated on any of the information I have access to, nor on the DHS website.

We have yet to hear of any official implementation from CMS either.

Wondering if anyone knows anything or has some information about this?

DSM 5 implementation

We were told DSM 5 implementation date is 10/1/2014 , same as ICD 10
