For commercial payer how do you bill for dsmt ? Some guidelines are very specific that they have to be a certified diabetic educator, others are not so specific. We are AADE credited, however some of our rn's arent certified. They are being refered to training by the physician and then the physician co signs their note.

My question is what cpt code are you billing?
