Wiki Dual MCR/MCD Advantage Plans not paying pt cost share??

I am having an issue with our UHC SNP and Wellmed SNP plans with the Primary MCR portion applying a co-ins to the patient and the Secondary MCD portion denying it saying it is a MCD write off. We cannot bill the patient so I guess our only option is to write it off? I don't understand since they have usually paid the pt resp when it's a dual plan. Advice on how to appeal or do we just have to write it off?? TIA!!!
