Does anyone have any guidance about the best way to bill a 60-minute visit where a parent comes in regarding vaccine counseling for her 2 kids? One visit time frame, but two patients are being counseled. Should this be 99403 for each patient (splitting the 60-minute visit into two 30-minute visits for each kid?) OR 99404 for each patient (since the time spend counseling in it entirety was equally applicable for both patients)?
