Question: A patient was seen to have a form filled out stating she was not
narcoleptic for her employer. The patient was in a car accident, uninjured,
and not seen for any accident related issue. This form was strictly for her
employer and required no medical exam, but was a face to face encounter.
Can this service be billed to her commercial insurance? If so what dx and
cpt code?
