429.89 Other ill-defined heart diseases
If the provider can determine if it is the connective tissue around the atrium there can be a more specific code assignment of 212.7 (neoplasm, heart, benign).
I would not assign 164.1 without clarification from the provider as the malignant aspect of this mass. (neoplasm, heart, malignant, primary)
This does not come up too often, in our practice.

We always use 786.6 for mass with location in the chest or heart area. You cannot assign benign or malignant neoplasm without benefit of a path report.
