INDICATION: Pre-procedural film prior to barium enema for colonic screening.
FINDINGS: Supine study of the abdomen is performed.
There is significant residual stool seen from the cecum to at least the mid transverse colon. The bowel gas pattern is nonobstructed. No mass, pathologic calcification observed. Degenerative changes in the spine.
IMPRESSION: Inadequate colonic cleansing. Barium enema rescheduled.
