I recently read an article in Coding Edge regarding how important it is to use the correct dx codes. I recently had a provider use 304.11 - sedative, hypnotic or anxiolytic dependence, continuous, because the patient was asking for more medication to help with anxiety and insomnia. I have given the article to the provider and he is looking for any additional info to help train the doctors. Anyone know where I can find additional info?:D
