My doctor wants to order bloodwork on a patient using the dx: previous cholecystectomy. What code would I use for this? Thanks, Teresa

Hey, if the blood work indicates any abnormal results then you've to code for that with V45.89 for previous cholecystectomy.
oterwise V45.89 is the only code. And also if patient come for blood work & after test it's normal then V65.5 can be used.
