Is 77080 the correct CPT code for a pediatric DXA scan? I accidentally came across an article suggesting 76499 (unlisted diagnostic radiographic procedure) would be the correct code for a pediatric exam. I've always used 77080 and they've always been paid without a problem but I would love to know what the correct code should be if anyone has any information. Thanks :)
