Hello all,
One of my providers did a TURP on a patient and the pathology report is showing that the specimen sent to them shows PIN III. So of course I see in my ICD-9 book that PIN III is excluded from the 602.3 and directs me towards 233.4
My problem is that even though the path report is telling me PIN III it also states "no carcinoma is identified" so I'm stumped on what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
