E/M and 20550 with modifier 59

In the past, i used modifier -25 for E/M code, then 20550 for injection, 50/50 carriers didnt pay for the injection code. Lately, i included modifier 59 to 20550 and I able to get pay from the insurance including Medicare. Am I doing the right?
