Hi,
One of my hospital employed Urologist does his cystoscopies in the surgical day center in the endo room. He does is 52000 and when he is done he'll say one of two things - everything is good will see you in follow-up in the office OR if he finds something during the cysto he will sit and give the news to the patient along with 20-25 minutes of options and gets the ball rolling for whatever comes next for that patient. Can he charge 99201-99215 -25 based on time) for that 20-25 minutes.???
